The reason for that is the behaviour of the state of Israel and has nothing to do with being Jewish or not.

I feel for Jewish people who do not support the state of Israel, it must be ostracizing and exhausting to fight against the majority of their own people who constantly try to conflate ethnicity with nationalism.

The reason is that most people think they already know everything they need to know and never develop themselves spiritually to the point they can actually understand what's being said, and act against it. Instead most people will continue to pump tokens into the skinner box which "proves" they are owned in these people's eyes, without ever doing anything to contradict the notion that they're owned.
It's not about being true. It's that they've successfully sold enough people the perspective that it's true, that people are willing to go along with it in exchange for profits.
