This is probably only like 3 months away from no longer being satire. He's definitely been jockeying for position as DNC poster boy for president next time, and just like everyone else from the DNC he keeps running to the right when nobody wants him to. SMDH.

I can’t stress this enough: for anyone who isn’t in California, lemme tell you that sure if you want to move the country more towards sane politics things have to go back to the dems. But not this guy.

I would put literally any other democrat in power before this one. Go look up how much Bay Area people have to pay PG&E in electric and gas costs namely thanks to him.

Preach. For every slightly progressive policy Newsom pushes with the media, he signs at least 6 bills that are exactly in line with what his conservative corporate masters want. He is an undercover conservative with a masterful grasp of PR and public image who keeps fooling Californians into voting for him.

"You hate the homeless, I hate the homeless..."

I'd argue the Onion writers are exhausted

I saw this headline while clicking through into another post. Goddammit, I ate the whole onion.

This would be a step up from his recent podcasts.

It seems like poor audio content to interview a mirror but what do I know?

Six months ago, I’d have lined up to volunteer to get this guy elected.

Now, I’m genuinely confused as what he believes in. I suspect he’s done the math and moving to the right increases his chance of being ejected, and if so he’d probably right. But what a disappointment.
