You only use a spoon for soup?

I'm listening to the audio book of Brandon Sanderson's latest Stormlight Archive book, and "You only use spoons for soup!" was the very last sentence I heard before stopping last session.

Nothing to do with you, but it was weird enough I felt compelled to share.

Ooh enjoy, it's a great book

Yeah I eat most food with soup. I tell my girlfriend to make "soup foods" for work, meaning I can eat them with spoon as in gobble them like an animal.

I didn't even consider she'd make soups

Even spoons don't have the spoons for this shit.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

There is no spoon.

This is why I’m so patient and calm when dealing with spoons.

It also stirs tea Mr Greek Boylover Edit: that shoulda been under Aristotle

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Aristotle wasn’t as keen on boyloving. That’s more Plato and Socrates’s Plato. (Iirc one of the dialogues is a competition, where the winner gets to kiss a slave boy and slave girl.)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Was it a kissing contest between the slave boy and the slave girl because you know what I didn't process the word slave properly oh gross.

That seems sus, but I'm no trullologist, so who am I to say?
