Absolutely fuck epic. But I'm more than happy to take free shit from them in exchange for a fake name, a burner email address, etc#
Meh not even that from me.
And I (sadly) already have an account from the days they were only known for Fortnite and the Epic Games Marketplace was split.
The UE4 shooter demo was actually pretty neat to play.
days they were only known for fortnite
glances at jazz jackrabbit, gears of war, bulletstorm, and unreal tournament
Am I old, chat?
I hear you, though
You said chat, UT is likely older than you
Oh, no, I just have succumbed to memes, but thanks!
What's the news on Epic? I definitely OOTL.
I don't use their store much. Except sometimes I think through the Steam launcher?
Nothing special. Just obgligatory hate for trying to establish exclusivity on the pc marketplace.
This game hits hard if you played borderlands 2
This one's definitely worth a play if you like the franchise. The writing is hilarious as usual, and there are some extremely cool environments in it.
I was looking for a looter shooter and tried this out a few months ago.
I found there to be just too much loot. Mobs died and dropped 4+ weapons. I was having to leave stuff behind and get overwhelmed with choice anxiety.
Yeah, like the other person said this is normal for the borderlands games.
I agree with you, I don't like it either though.
This has pretty much been standard for borderlands games since the inception, as well as looters in general. You just have to shift your perspective on the loot-- starting out you pick up everything, then past a certain point you start ignoring common drops entirely, then you can ignore tier 2, etc.
The way to look at it is that as you level your character what was formerly loot becomes garbage :)
This is my favorite game, ever.
Well, video game anyway.
Why? It's just silly enough, just simple enough, but also just challenging enough for that perfect casual gaming range that I prefer.
It's almost like a game developer went looking to make something I can play even when I'm not in the mood to play.
What's kinda weird is that the first few times I played it with my kid and wife, I didn't like it. I've never liked first person play at all. But after a while, I got used to the and could actually kick back and enjoy the vibe.
Besides, there's a quest in one section where the first half is all a set-up for a Sepultura reference. How the fuck can I not love that? Like, you know that whoever was working on that part was high as fuck, listening to the specific track, and went "heh heh heh, this is gonna be awesome", and drops in the punchline that's so subtle you don't catch it unless you know the band and are paying attention.
It's basically a game built good borderlands fans that are also d&d geeks.
Thanks for informing me. This is a game I have wanted for long while.
This is a pretty good giveaway. Limbo as well is being given away.
Split screen being a console exclusive made this game a let down for me
The game is also very short, it feels more like a dlc than a full game
I completely forgot this game existed. I'm was planing to buy it when it released but forgot to do it, still not gonna claim it tho too lazy to log in to my dusty epic account maybe I'll buy it on Steam later.
Would suggest you skip paying for the DLC here because it's not as good or as fleshed out as other borderlands DLC
If I remember correctly is this the DLC where one of them is literally like 30 minutes?
Until June 5th for anyone wondering.
