So I had a random thought the other day. What if pangea was still around? 2/3rds of the earth would be just one big ocean, and people would have no real reason to ever go to the other side of the world other than just to say they did. It would almost be like the far side of the moon. Obviously we know it's there, but no one ever sees it.
