If it wasn’t for my family’s support I could not afford a place to live. I have no idea how we are supposed to build lives like this.

That's one way to drive up vacancy rates and drop prices.... Far easier than building 100,000 new units (about two full years worth of construction)

I quickly suspected that you were being sarcastic.

I would say for all of BC, might need a million more places to live and then all of the tension will fall off and easier to move to wherever people decide to go.
