He has a $6.5 injury guaranteed for 2024 along with cap hits of $16.1, $19 and $19.6 million...I don't envision anyone claiming him. He was an All Pro Linebacker for 4 years, but after suffering a back injury last season, a lot of folks say he lost a step and for whatever reason, Colts weren't playing him. Regardless, he should clear waivers and then be able to sign anywhere. AP would love a LB of his caliber, but there are a lot of contending teams who could use a LB.

I really like this move. I think he realistically could be the Starter by end of season. If AP can keep him in line, you could have a All-Pro corner in a year or 2.

He's the future...of 2023 at least. I agree rookie QB contracts are the way to go, but I have a feeling this team will play themselves out of a top 10 pick and push them way out of the range for your top tier QB's.

Caleb Williams and Drake Maye will be the top picks. This then leaves you with the next tiers:

-Bo Nix

-Michael Penix Jr.

-Riley Leonard

-J.J. McCarthy

-Jayden Daniels

-Quinn Ewers

Those are late 1st-2nd round guys. Do you roll with AOC or take a rookie? The Free Agent/Trade market is less than ideal. For me, the only guys worth considering via trade would be:

-Kyler Murray (the contract is bad)

-Justin Fields

All of this is contingent on how this season goes, and if we keep the current GM and coach.
