I’m told CB Jack Jones “will fly out immediately.” Jones will be with the #Raiders at least, in time for the matchup vs the #Dolphins. We’ll see if he plays. Broke this news while live on CBS, pardon the typo below.

Worth a shot but if they got him 3 weeks ago with McD and Ziegler this sub would have exploded.

Jack Jones is very talented. Yes he’s an ex-pat and a lot of people have ptsd already from signing ex-pat players but this is a good signing. We need secondary help and Jack can be a stud. Not bad a for a late season hire.

If someone can get this young, talented, promising CB back to his Sunday best it should be the coach that brought him to the dance in the first place. Good signing all things considered!

Love it. Low risk. AP and Maxx might help straighten him out. We need help at CB even when Amik is healthy. I don't trust him or Bennett and Peters doesn't catch picks plus he doesn't tackle well. Hobbs and Hall are better inside too

I really like this move. I think he realistically could be the Starter by end of season. If AP can keep him in line, you could have a All-Pro corner in a year or 2.

This is a great pick up. Played with Pierce at both Arizona st. and Long beach Polytech.

If he’s a good player I don’t care about attitude, in fact I welcome it.

Enough with the bible thumpers. Let’s get back to our roots.

I was hoping this would happen. Hope AP can help get him on the straight and narrow esp considering their history together.

Had a 74.7 overall PFF grade last year as a rookie. Barely played this year as he entered the doghouse.

From what I read he seems like a solid corner with a lot of character issues. Gotta hope AP can help keep his head straight.

I hope this works out, but he needs to be on a very short leash.

I like this move. He was a really good player that was supposed to be the Pats next great corner, but he got into some personal issues. If he can put those behind him and continue to work hard and improve then he can be really good. If not, then so what, he costs us nothing and we cut him.

Jones was a legitimately good corner last year... don't like his off-the-field issues, but given his familiarity with Pierce and the fact that outside corner has been inconsistent this year, why not take a shot on him for the rest of the season?

Low risk signing...if he's a knucklehead, he's gone. If he shows anything like he did last year, he might be the best corner on the team.

Good talent and AP will set him right. Sad it didn't work out with us but his play was good when he was locked in. He's a player. I wish him the best of luck.

The guy has talent, but has made some poor personal choices. Hopefully guys like Maxx and AP can help him with that, but as we know, Vegas is not a city for a young man with money who makes bad decisions.
