The Lemmy fetching bot has problems with the cbc.ca site.

When linking to CBC, please include a "Thumbnail URL", and in the "Body" add a short quote from the story like the first sentence of the article or similar.

Thanks.

In 2018, journalistic group Investigate Europe released a video documentary via German public television network ARD that claimed that the majority of city workers were satisfied with the operating system, with council members insinuating that the reversal was a personally motivated decision by lord mayor Dieter Reiter. Reiter denied that he had initiated the reversal in gratitude for Microsoft moving its German headquarters from Unterschleißheim back to Munich.

Maybe MS will have to move again.

How about adding a link to those rules.

Meyer makes

Are they made in Canada though?

Canadian Owned: No

If you’re looking to buy Meyer, keep a close eye on where it’s made, as they have factories in China, Thailand, and Italy, so just because it says Meyer, it may not be made in Canada. Their website is pretty clear about what products are made in Canada, as clearly, they see this as a differentiator in the Canadian market.

The Anglicized name of the family business, a transliteration of the Chinese characters for “beautiful” and “Asia” (“mai” and “yah”), was Meyer Manufacturing Co. Ltd.

To mitigate the impact of the increases, BC Ferries is offering a 30 per cent discount on saver fares, encouraging passengers to book ahead and travel during off-peak times. This includes early morning, late evening and midday sailings during the week.

Foot passengers can also take advantage of saver fares for $15 when booking in advance on routes between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
