Yes but I am looking for an option for my TV. Not to interested in sending everything from my iPad to my TV, I may break because the ads on youtube are so annoying.

I have a pi 5 that I am considering using as an option but I I do like the idea of having a remote control.

I am happy the National Observer picked her up and I like what this segment will become, not to happy she is posting on youtube, as I am trying to get away from it. Stopped paying for Premium, and have started downsizing my subscriptions.

I am looking for ways to say arr and 🏴‍☠️ youtube stuff to degoogle my life.

I have been watching several CBC shows, without ads via my pi-hole, I would watch CBC news via youtube whenever I wanted to and could because CBCNN is not always streaming but now that I am not paying for youtube and trying to get off of youtube, first by watching less US stuff. Seeing as how I got a refund for my year worth of youtube, and several other US service providers, I can afford the $6 a month to watch CBCNN ad free on the CBC app.

I have decided to do my part and pay the $6 a month rather than just creating new email addresses when there is news I want to see or using my pihole to avoid ads.

Really a whole month, it is as if the Government does not take this trade war seriously or something. I am hoping that the Saskatchewan people take this into account once the Federal Election is called, Conservatives at their finest.

So I am trying to go gopher wild on my Buy Canadian journey, I have blocked all of the social media coming from the US minus Reddit as I find Reddit as a good place to talk to like minded people however using Reddit I am paying a US company via my eyeballs. I would never click on a Reddit ad, even if I did I am sure my ad blocking technology (pi-hole) would block it they are still making money from me seeing it.
