The comment says anti-propaganda laws. I'm 100% in favor of anti-fraud laws, but propaganda is special that it's not always direct (read as: legally enforcable) lies.

This has been said about every significant invention ever.

Thats like 20 different songs you'll need to pick from

They both do different parts of the character's story super well. Its worth noting that SotL Hannibal is far more sinister feeling and Hopkins killed that. Mads plays a Hannibal who MUST be reasonable and hide his darker nature and it's a much more subtle performance

How do you construct anti-propaganda laws that can't be used by bad actors to silence dissent? Genuine question if you have an answer but I don't think anyone actually does. The only actual counter to propaganda is quality education, which is where the US has been failing dramatically.

Yea, if we practically look at an annexation of Canada, they're a federal govt so each province would be wanting statehood realistically. Imagine how many liberal congresspeople we'd be getting.

It's not white knighting a planet. I'm literally from where it was discovered. I went on field trips to Lowell Observatory as a kid. Fuck all y'all who won't accept my planet.

All dwarf planets are planets. Don't discriminate.

This is a little over your price point I think, but it hits all the details! My ears don't do well being pressed on so can definitely say it's the most comfortable headset I've worn. Battery has lasted a while too! Mine is pushing 4 years old and still going very strong.

They taste different and I wouldn't even really compare. My pallet can't stand scotch, but corn and rye whiskeys from the US and Canada are great. That doesn't mean scotch is all trash, I just don't like the taste.

Yea, the fact that any CEO would take a stance like this just shines on his hypocrisy. If leadership bears no responsibility, they also shouldn't be taking home any of a company's profit.

When they sidelined him and started campaigning with the Cheneys, any blame was taken off of him.

I'm surprised the OSRS wiki isn't mentioned more. The game itself is very community oriented as well.

I seriously cannot have any degree of nuanced conversation here.

Like I get it, we all know capitalism is bad, but it feels like every time I or anyone go towards discussing the steps that need to be taken to address current looming problems in the short term, someone has to jump in and shut it down with "capitalism bad >:[ " and tear down any idea presented because its not complete and total destruction of the current economic model.

The result just feels like an echo chamber where no actual solutions get presented other than someone posting whole ass dissertations on their 33-step (where 30/33 steps are about as vague as "we'll just handle it") plan to fully convert the world to an anarchist commune.

Edit: I still vastly prefer Lemmy and the fediverse and a whole, my complaint here is that many of you are TOO INTENSE. You blow up small scale discussion.
