“The scene subculture is a youth subculture that emerged during the early 2000s in the United States from the pre-existing emo subculture. The subculture became popular with adolescents from the mid 2000s to the early 2010s. Members of the scene subculture are referred to as scene kids, trendies, or scenesters. Scene fashion consists of skinny jeans, bright-colored clothing, a signature hairstyle consisting of straight, flat hair with long fringes covering the forehead, and bright-colored hair dye. Music genres associated with the scene subculture include metalcore, crunkcore, deathcore, electronic music, and pop punk.”

you don’t type like a 50 year old, you type like someone who’s not interested in having a conversation

i’m bi, but i remember when i was a younger teen, i was OBSESSED with men but also the scenecore aesthetic? i wanted to be scene but I didn’t have money/a gift card to buy the clothes. anyway, i liked the aesthetic and music but wasn’t one myself

probably a troll that I saw, twitter bio that said “she/her | proud terf | 18”

and she was also dropping trans peoples’ usernames for people to harass said users?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

I think a great deal of those people are straight or internalized homophobia + transphobia

idk if they’re part of the community or saying this for attention/an excuse, plus ik not everyone is like this, but the people who are make me sick.

i have noticed an influx of highly religious internet users claiming to be bisexual with pride flags in their bio yet saying the most bigoted, vile crap. how sick do you have to be to do that?

thinking minorities are weird and saying they deserve death while playing the minority card??

i don’t care if you’re a queer person who says shit like “lgbt lives matter!! im queer and i hate when people are homophobic!! homophobia ends now” stop trying to make yourself look good.

also some of these people are women who are “anti-feminist” and also say “women just want something to complain about 🥱” respectfully shut up!!

(i go by cara or rico)

if anyone would like to have some sort of leadership and join the crew in kindness, you have a chance to reply to this :3

responsibilities:

post things to keep the community active

as does every poster.

delete negativity and hatred

this is a sub for kindness

you can clean up the community when needed

remove comments containing spam or trolling if severe and harmful, and ban these users if necessary.

be in charge of things related to your language

this community is mostly english-speaking but allows users who speak any language. if you speak a language and would like to moderate for people who speak a language, you very well can. (ex: as a portuguese speaker, i can delete spam and trolling from the portuguese language).

and i don’t mean weirdos as in creeps who objectify people for example, i mean those people who kind of stand out.

most of the time, the bullied people tend to be really nice. a lot of them happen to be autistic, i’ve noticed, as someone with autism + adhd. (obviously that’s not always the case)

🌟 be kind 🌟
