Andrej Karpathy is absolutely a nerd to me. He's not about selling you LLMs but about teaching you how to build your own (I recommend checking his videos out, they are one of the best resources on LLMs)

I was already looking for any lost souls claiming "Eierkuchen" or similar. But I am a bit confused, I think you spelled "Palatschinken" a bit wrong 🤔

Well, lots of words are sort of derogatory in programming right? Hackers hacking things together, rubber duck debugging (you have a bug? Go talk to a toy!), git blame and probably more

Edit: forget git blame, git itself is already slang for idiot. As Linus Torvalds once said, he created two successful projects, both named after himself

But it only takes 3.5 hours per turkey and a day has 24 of them. So if some people get up at 3am it works out!

openAI lives off of the AI hype. Take a look at what Facebook does with AI for a more moderate take on AI. It's not useless, openAI just hypes it way beyond where it is.

I even looked through the article to see if it is mentioned somewhere at least but no. They give a four hour battery as an example but is that representative? Who knows 🤷

Effective at what? Germany capitulated only once it was almost fully occupied (e.g. Berlin, Rhineland). The bombs might have helped by binding resources and demoralizing the population but that didn't affect the capitulation directly.

The Latin origin. Words ending on -us turn almost always into -i in plural in Latin. And that's where it comes from (octo eight, pus/pes foot).

"Es gibt keine gesunde Bräunung"? Warum steht da sowas wenn viele Forscher aktuell genau das Gegenteil zeigen, dass Leute zu wenig Zeit in der Sonne verbringen? Meines Wissens nach ist der aktuelle Stand dass Sonne sehr gesund für einen ist solange man Sonnenbrand vermeidet.
