Hanging on the wall like that, in a thumbnail, I thought it was a ketubah for a second. (Tbf this is more a sign I need more caffeine, I don't think I've seen a ketubah with such a large star of David on it before)

There's a product called Ener-G Egg Replacer and I use it to great success for eggs in dough. It won't make a dough "eggy" like is needed for challah or egg bagels, but it'll work as a binder in other baking recipes, as far as I can tell, perfectly. I've never had anyone ask "did you do something different here?" when tasting my baked goods, even if they've had my egged versions previously.
I used to use it just for making food for my vegan pals but now I've just been using it whenever eggs are called for.
They're a plague on gardens. It might be a metaphorical relic of an age before modern pesticides.
Edit: Sorry, I know this isn't funny, but I've also wondered about this odd phenomenon, too, and this just occurred to me.

Played the demo and it seems fun, but not full price fun. Reviews seem to echo that. I'll probably wait a year til it goes on sale.

This is sort of a confusing question. The New Testament are the Christian texts that posit that Jesus is the Messiah, son of God, which is part of the core ideology of Christianity and is not something recognized by Judaism. You might as well ask why the Koran is not a canonized text of Christianity.
