It’s not a surprise, but if they act like it is, they can pretend that they’re just as shocked as we are when it happens! We’re all in this together! Ignore the fact that most policies that benefit the rich will benefit members of the DNC, so they have less of an incentive to actually DO anything.

If you think Elon is being honest about ‘breaking even’, you haven’t been paying attention. Twitter is in the hole, and he’s lying through his fascist little teeth to either save face, or manipulate some sort of upcoming move.

Maybe take a step back and consider if perhaps people are alienated from you not because they are inferior to you intellectually, but because you treat them as if they are. Your comment is a rambling mess that uses a tone and vocabulary that does not endear you to anyone.
This feels very “How do you do fellow kids”. As if ol’ Timmy Apple wouldn’t sever the fuck out of his employees if he could. Children in factories can’t complain about poor conditions if they don’t remember them.
It’s another example of rich people not getting the point of these thrillers. Mr Beast sees Squid Game, the blatant anti-capitalist message flies over his head, and he uses his wealth to recreate the show, injuring and abusing poor people for entertainment.
Timmy sees Severance is popular, and makes a little video where the emotionally abusive torturer/manager welcomes him to the team. Tim has a milquetoast smile on his face the entire time, as if the show isn’t also about the horrors of capitalism. Send him to the Break Room and let him do his little “pissed in his own pants and enjoying the warmth” smile.
People will remain subscribed because a $2 increase every few months doesn’t feel as bad as a $30 increase in one go.
