Boss: "Good work today. Why don't you head home a little early."

Me: uses jedi mind trick "You need me to stay late and run TPS reports."

Rogan has a huge platform that reaches a lot of people and, in my opinion, along with that platform comes a responsibility to be careful about the voices and ideas he allows to be amplified on his show. There are already plenty of sources out there for people who want to check in on what the right is thinking. Rogan didn't need to be one of them. He rightly faced criticism. If his political stances weren't solid enough to survive the criticism, then I wonder how strong his convictions were to begin with.

I'm not a Spanish speaker, but I think Pun's meaning of "crush" is getting lost in translation. I would say definition 3 from this slang dictionary is the most accurate.

Edit: Now that I think about it, "crush" was the lyric in the radio edit. In the unedited version he says outright "... I just fuck a lot."

I sometimes wonder what happened to all the boxed mattresses - Casper, Purple, Helix. They all just seem to have vanished into thin air.

Not if your company has to register the IP address range of the VPN connections they use. ISPs could whitelist registered IP address ranges and block all other known VPN addresses.

They'd just carve out an exception for corporations but ban private use.

I ~~have~~ choose to suffer, so the other people should do that, too.

I repeated my order twice and still didn't get what I asked for. Once I got home and took a bite, I realized dude had made me one of the best turkey subs I had ever tasted! It's like he knew to give me the sandwich I needed, not the one I thought I deserved. I should have never doubted him.

I'm working my way to a CS degree and am currently slogging my way through an 8-week Trig course. I barely passed College Algebra and have another Algebra and two Calculus classes ahead of me.

How much of this will I need in a programming job? And, more importantly, if I suck at Math, should I just find another career path?

After seeing that my wireless speeds were much faster than the speeds I was getting over Ethernet, I decided to invest in some new cables. I didn't know it before, but I saw while I was changing them out that my current cables were Cat 5e. While putting my network together, I had just been grabbing whatever cables I could find in my scrap drawers. Now I have Cat 8 cables and my speeds jumped from 7MB/s to an average of over 40MB/s. It's a much bigger improvement than I expected, especially for such a small investment.
