It'll be exciting to see how this story develops. I do feel like she's cutting Pappa too much slack, and she's lying to herself saying she'd like to live in a cave with him.

A child shoupdnt be living alone, not in a cave, and so I if the situation doesn't improve I fear we'll have no choice but to involve social services, for Moomin's safety.

It's a little fascinating how "fresh" and groomed they always look. Make me live in the forest for a week and you probably wouldn't recognize me at the end of it.

Season 7 already.. I would've guessed this to be the fourth season. Time really does fly.

It very much feels like all the American politicians getting any significant news coverage, now, are an embarrassment to the country, and the world.

Uuuuh.. being a web dev in those days.. You essentially first built support for proper browsers, then it was time to make things look and work as they should (or close to it) in IE.

It seems some folks have difficulty believing that what is said in the heat of the moment, what happens on a, track doesn't have to carry over to life outside the track.

A couple of decades ago I worked for a company that had an office in Italy; I was in a meeting with two Italian colleagues and one was really upset at some changes I proposed, calling me an idiot and every other Italian word for it. Lots of gesturing, too, ofc. I was a bit taken aback, having never experienced behavior like that, at least not at work (I'm scandinavian and we tend to be more at the opposite side of the scale when it comes to showing emotion).

After the meeting he walks up to me, all smiles, asking if I'd like to join him and some others for drinks.

That was perhaps a bit extreme, but to him work was work and what he thought of me and my ideas in that setting didn't mean he thought any less of me as colleague/friend/dude to hang out with.

Do you have any idea how much time it would take to make billionaires with those 1960s prices?! /s

Four megapixels? Holy cow.. My first 90s digital camera was 0.2 megapixels. I remember upgrading to one in 1998 that was 1(!) megapixels.

Mhm, I think Batman is larger..

They can seem deep asleep, but any step in the direction of the kitchen is closely monitored, always.

A walk in the forest, Eidsvoll, Norway, this July. The dogs are flat coated retrievers and absolutely adorable.

I have all of December off from work, where should I go?

I've not yet done any research whatsoever on this, and figured it would be fun to start off by asking you lot.

Is December even a good time to visit this part of the world, weatherwise?

I'll be traveling alone and I'm not looking for an action packed vacation. Beautiful scenery, tasty drinks and good food will do the trick. Beach vacations aren't normally my thing, but I think that's just what I'm in need of now.

Preferably somewhere I'm not in danger of getting robbed and stabbed every waking minute, too. That would be nice.

I'll be traveling from Norway, btw.

Craig scarborough has some interesting thoughts on why Mercedes' "zeropod car" struggled so much.

Given how the headline ends with a question mark, the answer is no. But it might be a significant part of the package.
