He’s been working with Jeff Christensen as his QB coach since high school, so that’s why accuracy has been the key priority in his training. May make sense to spend some time working this off-season with a mobility-focused coach. Unless there’s some magic key to unlocking it, he’s never going to be the mobile QB this sub is clamoring for, but if he can get a few more plays a game where his feet give his eyes and arm more time, maybe he’s good enough to hang on over a rookie.

Just for the record, Rookie Manning had a 56% completion rate and tossed more INTs than TDs. While his team was going 3-13. He wasn’t the Hall of Famer we know him as in his first year either, and a significant portion of this sub would 100% have called him a bust.
They want a mobile QB and think that’s a sure fire thing you get with an early first round draft pick, like Johnny Manziel, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Marcus Mariota, Robert Griffin III, etc
Sure, every once in a while you find a bust later in the first round like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson or Patrick Mahomes, but mostly it’s guaranteed winners when you’re picking a QB in the Top 5.
Just gonna make it that much sweeter when we sweep them.
AOC has 7 more weeks of practice and 6 more weeks of games! By that point we will have enough to know if we can upgrade the OL or secondary with our first pick, or if we need to spend major draft capital to get into top tier QB position.
Defense gonna say “fine, I’ll do it myself” and pick six these fuckers
I would 100% take AP being out Dan Campbell.
CBS had a stat that AOC already has the longest win streak for a Raider rookie QB. Two wins. Would be the first to ever go 3-1. Jesus.
You mean the St Louis Chargers?
Plus we get to play the colts near end of season, so if they’re still clinging on with Minshew Mania, we can swap some ground on the field.
Just go draft a generational QB. Jeez. It’s so elegant but so simple. Why didn’t any of us think of that?
