Most Usenet providers offer secure connections so I don't know if it's necessary, but I use a VPN.

Same here. Sorting by hot subscribed in my browser and apps all show this at the top.

V18.0 no longer holds your spot on the home page when you hit back, and now reloads you to the top of the page. Please fix in c/[email protected]

I'm seeing the same. My instance was upgraded last night, now the front page reloads everytime I go back. Testing on Firefox on Android, not sure of other setups.

Is there a way to make instance-agnostic links? in c/[email protected]

Should these links work? I'm viewing this thread from Lemmy.ca and both give me a 404 error. When testing with jerboa, the app crashes
