Imagine having a personality disorder, basically. Wealth inequality is bad for the wealthy, too. It either turns them into freaks or it enables their inherent freakishness. Either way, they need their wealth to be redistributed and they personally to be reduced to the median level of wealth for everyone's, including their own, benefit.

Loosening restrictions around foreign ownership has been one of the most insidious and damaging legacies of the Harper governments.

Yep, the goal of this ministry will be to replace public servants.

Is this what it looks like when you hold all the cards, then?

Watching that gave me a sensation similar to how I would describe the feeling you get coming to a stop in an elevator.

As far as I'm aware there is no rule he can't pick his own name as his pope name, should he want to be cool.

Wouldn't it be so wonderful if we could somehow get these people to understand that their ideas are bad without having to directly experience the consequences of them?

The devs being who they are is a big reason this place was not attractive to nazis and other reactionary trolls who were banned from reddit the way other reddit alternatives have ended up in the past. Say what you will but I would deal with whatever we have going on here over whatever Voat, for example, became 100% of the time.

It's been pretty nice. I've been catching up on new (to me) music releases.

You don't have to be a tankie to see that Carney is a red tory.

Wealth inequality is as great as it has ever been. If putting money into the hands of the wealthy so they can distribute it to charities as they see fit solved anything, we'd be living in utopia by now.
