I'd hope so. Also I'd hope Taash's character designer was fired as the writer was also fired.

Hey EA got rid of the writers for the last Dragon Age, so maybe this'll be better.

Late to reply, but you should just leave it as defaults, noatime, nofail. From the mount man page, defaults already implies rw,suid, dev, exec, auto, nouser, async.

EDIT: change it to rw,suid, dev, nouser, exec, auto, async, noatime, nofail actually, anything after defaults overrides the options specified by that.

Why should I watch this video and not read the Wine 10.0 change log on their official website?

I still have VHS copies of rental DVDs

What? Did you record the rented DVDs on blank tapes or am I misunderstanding?

I assume your drive in fstab (or systemd mount, whatever your setup is using) has the 'defaults' permission option? If it doesn't that may be why games aren't launching. Also exFAT doesn't have the proper Unix permissions to launch games iirc.

The current stable release is a Gnome fork abomination and the current alpha has a trillion issues. Absolutely terrible for games.

Mech Warrior Online heavily benefits from this, God Eater 1 & 2 require esync and fsync to be disabled to get fast loading screens, wonder if ntsync fixes that.

SteamOS 3 is Steam big picture mode inside of gamescope (a standalone wayland mini compositor), without your KDE desktop running in the background. You still have bluetooth, wifi and whatever other background processes running, but if you want to use a video editor, use your terminal or something else not on Steam then you have the option to boot out of gamescope session and into desktop mode from the 'Power' menu option. In game mode you still have to deal with Steam being a webapp but with no other desktop programs running, aside from the game you're playing.

No Bloodborne yet!

RHDN is dead. RIP.

Available this summer!

Looks like the 'uglification' of female characters is real.

Looks like CreamAPI is not affected. Looks like a Paradox games fan's worst nightmare.

Title says all, is it possible to use a mainline kernel on a non-SteamOS install or do you have to use Valve's kernel they ship with SteamOS 3.x? Is it possible to find all the the patches they use and compile a kernel yourself?

I already have my keepassxc and syncthing setup on my phone and computers and it's great, I'd like to go a step further and have my password database sync when I'm not on my home network. From my understanding I can use relays set up by other users and they are encrypted, but if I do not trust syncing personal (encrypted) data to someone else's server how easy is it to set up a relay that only I use? I won't be using Bitwarden because in theory if I can pull this off I can also use syncthing to sync other files as well. Is setting up a personal relay a lot of work or a potential security risk for my home network?

First MCC update of the year starting off with Halo 2 classics hit registration being worked on, maybe it'll be like 'exactly like it was when it released'. Halo 3 mods need to be rebuilt for this update as well.

Ross Scott talking about The Crew's future server shutdown making the game unplayable for people who bought it or received it for free. He wants to see if a lawsuit is possible because of how fast technology is outpacing the law and needs help with who to contact.
