Only pick them up with tongs to keep track of what chemicals are being used and whether they are using expired canisters.
The fact that most of the car ads I see these days are for electric vehicles - especially trucks - makes me happy
A better solution is to design infrastructure so it is not physically possible to drive onto a rail line, i.e. so the car could not enter the roundabout so fast that they would launch over it and land on the train tracks.
We have been relying on cops for road safety for over a century and it does not work. The answer is not cops. Then there's the issue of cops constantly speeding, killing people in high-speed chases, systemic racism at traffic stops, etc.
