Bike on the sidewalks..it's literally saver for everyone involved. I will never in a million years use the road with a bike. I will never win those fights or even accidents. Sidewalks ..sure.
I never understood this push for riding your squishy bodies on the road with heavy big fast cars. Seems beyond stupid and nothing can convince me otherwise
Having dedicated bike infrastructure means that people using bikes and pedestrians are not forced to compete for a tiny strip of sidewalk while most of the roadway is dedicated to cars. Bikes need to yield to pedestrians, so aside from it being illegal to ride on the sidewalk as an adult, it is much slower. There are also many roads that do not have sidewalks.
Proper bike infrastructure is protected by concrete bollards or curbs

The data I have seen all say that cyclists are injured and killed more often per KM on sidewalks than on roads.
