I don't find it so bad, but it's a 3-minute speech and that's with a good amount of filler material talking about how hard old people have it.
Personally I'd prefer a 90-minute speech detailing revolutionary new policy ideas that have been well-researched, honestly addressing counter-arguments to them, and convincing us that they would be effective. Very few people would actually watch such a thing I suppose, but word would get out and the reputation of the party might improve.
