Is treason punishable by death to Canadians?
Civilian? no. Military? I had a buddy who SUPER fucked up and was consoled before his court-martial that he probably wouldn't get execution because no one died through his ignorant subversion of naval security.
(Wasn't even drummed out, but somewhere, in a kitchen far away from the light of day, they say he peels potatoes even still. So many potatoes).
It’s life in prison for treason in Canada, which I’d gladly see for Ford. Jail him.
Keeping in mind life sentences in Canada aren't like life sentences in the US.
You can get parole after 25 years.
