As they should. Applications opened and yet we took in barely any and forced the application process to be grueling and confusing for no reason. We could have just taken them in. But no, we made them pay ahead of time, fill out forms, obtain familial sponsorship, travel with no support (financial or otherwise) to various places such as Egypt, etc.

I read months ago that multiple people have been murdered while waiting to proceed to the next stage. It's unconscionable that we allowed this and our failure here is yet another stain on Canada; we seem to be keen on collecting them, especially when it comes to Palestine.

I hope they win the suit. The entire process is/has been disgusting to witness and people are still being left to die.

I mean you do not have the right to come to Canada.

I was born in Canada. What right do you have to tell me I can't be here? What the fuck?

Also, the program we implemented gave them the right to enter. We literally gave some Palestinians with family here the right to enter and live here for 3 years, we just dragged our feet on processing so that people would die.

This is the focus of the article, why is this hard for you?

We could have just taken them in.

Or not. Look what happened to Egypt or Lebanon, What a half baked idea. Look at the amount of harassment Jews in Canada had to deal with.

Okay yeah, we could have not had a program at all, I guess. But since we did, I think what I said still applies.

Why do you hate Palestinians?

It's also kind of interesting that you blame Palestinian Canadians for antisemitism in Canada. It's sort of a weird reverse image of the stupid idea of blaming Jewish Canadians for Zionist crimes in Israel and Palestine.

Wait are you saying it wasn't palastine Canadians harassing people in malls and Jewish hospitals? It's not me disliking them by stating historical facts. Everywhere that took in large amounts suffered. End fact.

Canada has traditionally had its own homegrown antisemitism problem. Palestinians didn't import it.

I can't tell what specifically you are referring to by events in malls and hospitals, but if you claim there was harassment perpetrated specifically by Palestinian Canadians, you will have to back it up.

Finally, your "historical facts" are just pure racism, including against my fellow Canadians and is intolerable. Reported.

Don't hurt your arm! A google search will prove you wrong. By the way I know you guys like hurling words incorrectly to make people feel bad but palastine isn't a race.

Neither is Jewishness a skin colour but antisemitism is racism.

Lexical definition in Canada:

Racism is any individual action, or institutional practice which treats people differently because of their colour or ethnicity. This distinction is often used to justify discrimination.

It sure is a mean word you can toss around to insult those that know history and feel differently then you. 😎
