Republicans have joined Democrats to vote many bipartisan bills under president Biden.
That is absolutely not why Trump is president now. Trump is president now because the Biden Harris administration has been unapologetically providing military, financial and diplomatic support to Israel while it committed a genocide, and also because it refused to conduct an open primary.
I don't think that was the sole reason, or even a major part. It was inflation lies by the GOP, sexism and racism that got trump in. Foreign policy isn't as significant as domestic issues in an election. The only voting population that was concerned was Muslims
It was definitely a major part. It’s not about “foreign policy” is about committing a genocide.
Nobody but people deeply interested in politics gave a shit about how the primary was conducted, and anyone who thought that bringing Trump in would make the genocide go away was incapable of seeing what was right in front of their faces.
Trump got in because the media and social media have been corrupted into non-stop propaganda outlets, and most voters are pig-ignorant and believe whatever lies get repeated most loudly.
Trump has brokered a ceasefire deal in Gaza in less than two weeks.
Shoving one of the least popular candidate from the 2020 primary as the 2024 candidate was a terrible mistake, it’s almost as if the party was actually trying to lose.
Man, if you think that was genocide. Just wait till you see what happens with forced relocation. Gaza will be stained with blood for years.
Trump has brokered a ceasefire deal in a matter of a couple weeks, whereas Biden refused to do so in over a year.
Yes, let’s wait and see. The crazy talks about forcing the people of Gaza to relocate are just that, crazy talks. Let’s focus on actions rather than words.
And how long did that ceasefire last, and who broke it?
"Crazy talk" repeated loudly and often by Trump and Netanyahu as well as members of Netanyahu's cabinet.
While the ceasefire is not perfect, the number of casualties has dramatically decreased this year.
What people say only matters so much, what they do matters magnitudes more.
Trump didn’t broker shit and Israel broke the ceasefire on day fucking one.
Don't bother, they're a propagandist.
Actually, DO bother. Can't change their minds but the bullshit deserves to be challenged.
Steve Witkoff, Trump’s envoy, is the one who brokered the ceasefire deal. It’s not perfect but it’s magnitudes better than under Biden.
