Costed platforms should be a requirement of being on the ballot, and not at the 11th hour the day before. It should be, at a minimum, due by the halfway point of the campaign. Election is announced and we have 12 weeks till election day? Any party that doesn't have a costed platform written and available for the public to view by midnight 6 weeks til election day, sorry, you are welcome to run again next time, off the ballot.

I know we will just end up with different bullshit shinanigans but at least they have to do their homework and then we can laugh at it.
