They taught us that drugs were evil and done by bad people. The first time I smoked pot, I realized I was lied to and wondered what other drugs were like.

I'm amused by the one dissenter who downvoted both of us. Hey dissenter: a ton of people agreed with our takes and only you disagreed. This isn't a forum for you. Go find a place where people share your views.
There was definitely a point in my life that I saw weed users the same as heroin, etc.
I’ve never used either, but thankfully my views have changed anyway. It does show how much harm it causes when your informative spiels get one thing wrong.
