Highway 4 Between Port Alberni and Parksville (self.britishcolumbia)

Highway 4 is still closed near Cameron Lake. This is cutting off Port Alberni, Uclulet and Tofino from the rest of the island, unless you want to use back roads.

Thanks for posting this.

I heard on the radio the other day that the road will continue to be closed even after the fire is under control. It sounds like there will be a fair amount of work to do in order to stabilize the hillside.

No worries. Kicking the tires on Lemmy, might as well be something useful!

Sounds like there is a lot more equipment and personnel today, plus some rain. Road still closed though.
