Meanwhile, they continue to find new ways to extract pennies from the poor who need to eat: Loblaws will no longer offer 50% discount on expiring food products
Yep, it's in plain sight that Loblaws would rather trash their products than give people a way to afford staple items.
I'll be sure to drink this in a week if it costs less than the normal product, but I'm not going to go anywhere near it if it's not discounted.
Loblaws doesn't throw away expired food, they relabel it to sell at full price again.
