As much as I love the sentiment, I can't believe this post is missing owls, the most obvious honorary cats out there.

There is a community called SuperbOwl, it is amazing. One of the owls that got posted today or yesterday reminds me of my fat, grey stripe cat.

Owls are sky cats

I thought this might make for a fun poster, and this looks pretty good. I might even watch it...

I like how not one of the things in this poster is an actual cat. Probably the closest is the cat-raccoon stuck to the wall on the left.

Also, is that a jackalope on the right? And what is the nightmare-fuel thing in the left in the background?

Overall a great image though. Good prompting by you to created it.

I was with it right up to geese. Fuck geese, all my homes hate geese

[–] keefshape 6 points 1 year ago

Shhh, the Geese may hear you!

I feel the exact same way. Cobra chickens are more malicious than mischievous- an important distinction.

I, good sir or madam, am no homie of yours. I love geesies!

I once or Canada goose body slam a small child that was chasing the ducks. It was very funny. 10/10 would recommend

See, I was going to say capybara don't belong in this list; they seem almost as law-abiding as sloths.

I didn't realize capybaras carried such latent hostility.

I'm so glad to be the one to tell you about this, if you speak spanish i recommmend looking for interviews too. People losing their minds because capybaras were entering their house and 'threatening' them:

Don't forget foxes!

As someone that has a pet parrot, they also qualify as honorary cats

There was an escaped monkey in St, Pete (FL) and for years it escaped capture because people would call to report it but never until it was safely gone. People would see it crossing 19 (think of the highway in the matrix but add stoplights and school buses, and yes, a monkey playing frogger).

Cornelius, I name you honorary cat.
