I find it funny The article talking about meta no longer paying for news coverage in Australia Germany and elsewhere is paywald so you don't actually know the details
Canadian media has entered the 'find out' stage. CBC is pushing "woe is the independent news" while demanding that Meta pay CBC to share their articles.

A new PRINT newspaper has been launched in our community and appears to be going very well. Meta starving the zombies like Black Press is creating space for new media and models to grow.
I absolutely love no news on social media. Far less political BS and nurbag commentary in my feed. If it could be banned permanently it would be awesome.
