I don't understand how it's possible for "removed" to be a slur but "bitch" be fine. Either way you're turning immutable characteristics into an insult, so what's the difference exactly? I guess there's some contexts where it's not as bad, like when you hammer your own hand and yell "son of a bitch!". But as a sailor-mouth myself, directly calling someone a bitch, especially a woman, is vile to me. I don't care how big of an asshole she is.
