Middle finger while driving: unoriginal, mild insult, forgotten by the end of the day

Thumbs down while driving: based, superior sense of disapproval, will haunt the affected for days to come

I've been doing this on motorcycle so it's extra visible, it's so unaggressive it feels great πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Ž

[–] DamienGramatacus@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I find booing while doing thumbs down helps too.

Asking β€œwhy?” is good too. Especially if they are acting/driving aggressively and can hear you clearly.

Isn't this the guy who accepted money from the Russians for propaganda?

[–] N0body@lemmy.dbzer0.com 52 points 6 days ago

.. and used it to buy a Swastikar. Yes, Tim Pool is on the Kremlin’s payroll as an American propagandist. No, the authorities aren’t doing a single thing to stop it. He’s one of very, very many.

Right-wing influencers were duped to work for covert Russian operation, US says

Duped, uh-huh

[–] uienia@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago

Yeah, that is how yet another crystal clear case of Russian meddling was brushed aside by the US news media.

[–] ieatpwns@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago

And the yt algo recommends him if your search string contains β€œweapon” even if searching for weapon tier lists in video games

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 47 points 6 days ago (1 children)

This guy is living proof that grifting conservatives is the easiest fucking job on the planet.

[–] beejboytyson@lemmy.world 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Man I genuinely thought about it. But they're so toxic that I'd last about 2 video essays.

Me too. But unfortunately making content to grift them actually helps their stupid cause.

Can't have that on my concious. Grifting them? Sure.

"I'm the bigger person here. Only two of those were made up."

[–] shiroininja@lemmy.world 42 points 6 days ago (2 children)

This is the same douche that recently said Laura Jane Grace transitioned for money and because her band β€œwasn’t doing well”. What a mouth breather

This is a joke, right?

I don't think his dad is a fan of his politics, and he regularly calls into the Majority Report to talk to Sam Seder.

That chud better keep her name out of his damn mouth.

If you can listen to "the ocean" and still talk shit about her journey, I will personally slap the shit out of you.

[–] shiroininja@lemmy.world 6 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

Yeah it really pissed me off because he claimed to know her personally and even said he read her book. Like wtf dude

The ocean is such a beautiful song. It’s my favorite by Against Me!

[–] mosiacmango@lemm.ee 11 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

By "knows her personally" I bet he means met her back in his vice days when he was faking his "citizen journalism" beat.

I highly doubt an actual punk icon stayed in touch with a right wing shill poser directly on the russian payroll.

[–] shiroininja@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago

Yeah I can’t see a former DiY punk hanging out with the likes of this douche canoe

[–] prex@aussie.zone 2 points 6 days ago

I hadn't heard of her before now. Thanks for the link.

[–] brucethemoose@lemmy.world 28 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Very loudly ignoring them and then tweeting about it, to tens of thousands of others.

[–] sowitzer@lemm.ee 2 points 6 days ago

Well I probably didn’t even happen. This guy isn’t known for telling the truth.

[–] sarcasticsunrise@lemmy.world 17 points 6 days ago

Tim Pool and Jimmy Dore are the actual "controlled opposition"

[–] over_clox@lemmy.world 18 points 6 days ago

Plot twist:

Dude said the woman might have hit them. Isn't the Cyberdump supposed to be smort enough to avoid that?

What the fuck was he even worried about, if his tronk was so smort?

[–] Biskii@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I love giving them the thumbs down. Inoffensive disapproval

[–] Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 6 points 6 days ago (1 children)
[–] beejboytyson@lemmy.world 0 points 6 days ago

What? Ineffectual grand standing? OK I guess...

[–] Stalinwolf 7 points 6 days ago

Take off the goofy indoor hat and embrace your scalp, Tim. I did.

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago

I usually give them the head shake if disapproval, but today I felt like going OG with the bird. Gotta change it up.

I also hocked up a big glob of green crap from my throat when I was sick last week and spat on a parked one while walking around USC. Although gotta be careful, dudebros just naturally exist around that school (plus Trump cosplayers, ugh).

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 5 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

Oh! I wonder if the thumbs down guy was me?! I always give them a thumbs down.

It's honestly a pretty great response. It's not inflammatory enough for them to respond in anger, but it sits in the back of their heads as "that person doesn't like me."
