I see that Canada's EV car, the Arrow 2.0 is showing at a global trade fair in Germany. The prototype has been around for a couple of years. Is it any closer to the production phase?

No.

To the best of my knowledge, the Arrow (any of them) are only showcases for Canadian automotive and EV tech. They are not looking to start a car company, or fully develop the vehicle, it's only there to get more businesses to set up shop in Canada to use our auto/EV talent and research.

Too bad. We could use a competitor to Tesla.

Hyundai/Kia are doing a damned good job so far, I think. Of course, drop any tariffs and the Chinese will eat Tesla's lunch before they can do anything.

I very much enjoy my Ioniq 5 over any Tesla I've driven.
