This was a really fun interview, and a neat insight into Carney as a person.

Thanks to this video, today I learned my coworker personally knows nardwuar and used to party with him in his early 20s wtf lol

Polievre: Acting like a human with interests?!? That's not fair!

That's a crazy number or records. We need to study this guy and what percentage of him is plastic.

Benn Jordan did a video on vinyl records that got me to try to get my dad to sell the ones he still has.

Thanks for sharing I had no idea how harmful vinyl is. Various sources say it is safe to handle but the manufacturing, recycling and distribution is a nightmare.

I like how my collection is 90% second hand and won't be getting rid of them anytime soon, but it's an eye opener for sure!

Vinyl are completely different masters than the digital versions. Dude is wrong right off the bat

I'm sure there isn't one specific way things are always done.

That also wasn't really the important part.

Yeah I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear that my records are killing me lol

Counterpoint - we're all going to die. There's no good reason to feel guilt or shame for filling our lives with things that enrich our short time on this rock.

Almost anything we choose to do that is fun or interesting shortens our lifespan. So does worry, and boredom.

People who want to min-max and optimize their life and health, I guess, why not. But that's not the only way to live a meaningful life.

I would be an embarrassment in one of these interviews. First of all I’m not a very musical person. Secondly I have terrible memory and I don’t even remember much about pre-college life. Being a charismatic politician really requires a different type of being.
