That’s the equivalent of what more than 55 million passenger vehicles emit over the course of a year.
This is never going to be achieved by eliminating car emissions. I know they have given that example to help people understand scale of the problem but now people will think eliminating personal cars will solve the issue when the actually the electricity grid, especially the grid used to supply to industries has to changed to cleaner energy.
