It's always fun and games until somebody calls the cops.
It's only illegal if you get caught
Wym? That's the best part!
Hot weather is a lot more comfortable than cold weather to me tbh
Same. I'll take 110F/43C any day over 10F/-10C. 85/35 is my happy place.
You're mad.
20c or lower.
If it's warmer I am not liable for dripping sweat all over things.
Naw, 75F+ is gross. 60F is the sweet spot.
Grew up in San Diego. Twas 75F year round
Completely disagree. Summer is my favorite season and would remain so in the complete absence of PR.
This post reminds me of a friend in the ad business who told me people only think iced drinks taste better because in the early 1900s some advertising genius created a campaign to convince people of that. No, sorry, cold drinks are more refreshing. The ancient Romans thought so too, and used to haul ice down from the Alps, centuries before the advertising industry even existed.
You don't need refreshing if you're not already overheated.
It depends on where you are. Seattle summers are amazing (shhhh, don't tell anyone).
Me in Seattle right now: it's too hot, it's too bright, there are too many tourists, I want the cold and rain back
I was gonna say no way to OP but you're right. If you're somewhere where it's mostly like around 100 F or higher then fuck that.
Same. I’m in the Seattle area and summer is incredible…skies are clear temps are mostly super comfortable except for like 2 weeks when I need a fan.
Honesty there's so many adverts about sunny holidays via plane that I honestly wouldn't be shocked when oil corps turn out to pay for lots of them. Makes the heatwaves more appealing
I wouldn't be surprised if you're right
I fucking hate summer. It’s terrible in Florida. Not as intolerable on the west coast.
Not as intolerable on the west coast.
On the actual coast, sure. Come to the Central Valley of California, tho. Shit's basically the same as Florida except that it's not guaranteed to rain every day around 5pm. 90-100+ heat with 90-100% humidity. 😵💫
And then there's the very visible smog layer you can see from the Sierra Nevadas. You can actually taste the air after stepping out of the Fresno Yosemite airport in August after having been elsewhere with cleaner air. I remember it being a very dry heat most of the time.
Winter can get in the fucking sea because it's so dark all the time. Mid to late spring is definitely best though.
When I was younger I preferred being cool over being hot, but nowadays I almost never think that it's actually too hot. You just gotta adjust your mental, idk how but it being hot is just nice in a way
Really depends on location. Summer in my area is brutal and the heat lasts close to 5 months, so yes I agree it’s the worst season. Spring is next simply because of all the hailstorms. Fall is ok but still too warm for actual fall standards. The upside is our winters are mild, so it’s the best season.
I suffer in these summers, but I still prefer this suffering to the winter. Winter is too depressing. Christmas is about all that is nice about Winter.
Eh, depends on location. Summer at the beach is awesome. Summer in a desert, not so much.
Yesssss hard agreeeee
Very much agree.
Poland. It's not that summer is amazing - it just sucks the least.
It's hot and everything wants to eat you, but it's colorful and sunny and summer nights are ahhhhhh...
Autumns tend to be pretty. And rainy as hell. Meh.
Winter was pretty when I was a kid. Nowadays it's autumn, minus pretty and plus balls freezin off. No snow, fuck you.
Spring is wet and green, but also cold. Good contender against summer, barely loses IMO.
Edit: Additional context - when it gets cloudy and grey in Poland, it gets fucking uber depressing. I dunno what it is, but almost can feel thr grey communist past creepin up...
