I want Lemmy in general to take off more now than ever, but I imagine in 30 days will be the real reckoning. Not everyone subscribes to /r/redditdev and /r/modnews. When they cut off Apollo and RIF everyone will be looking for a new location.
I've had the same questions, so I'd love to know too! :D
Well not going to lie, a RSS Feed for some subs to feed them would make sense. Post the top 3-5 news stories into /c/Canada /c/Ontario etc.
Another silly question. Is there a reason lemmy.ca isn't listed on https://join-lemmy.org/instances?
Cool, I figured it would need more resources. But I suppose scaling is tomorrows problem. :D
Hopefully we can see some uptick in engagement on the sites as well. Creating an account is the first step, however we need to build the communities.
Informal Market.
Hello everyone,
Still trying to get used to the new setup over on Lemmy, however trying to make some new communities work. Want to get /c/ontario and /c/waterloo running with some active discussions and people. Hopefully we can make a difference. :)
Edit: I'd also love to know the hardware that you're running this on!
Well now I have two accounts. :D
So reading this correctly, it's currently a hosting bill of 30 Euro a month?
