I get you point. I guess I'm a simple man. OP made me laugh. I expect because of sarcasm. If he actually thinks the guy is a mastermind I'd have to laugh even harder. In any case, I enjoyed his contribution to this community. Nevertheless, you point is valid, especially with topics that are more complex.

I'm not sure that's true. I observed more sarcasm without the need to flag it (/s) compared to reddit and I like it. My post are often sarcastic (probably a coping mechanism, the world has gone crazy) and I wouldn't be a big fan of flagging them as such: "Hey look, I made a joke. Now laugh and press the upvote!"

No worries, enjoy your coffee.

I mean he was caught asking his daughter who is also describing her mother as her best friend to cover for him with a plan that was likely to fail to begin with. That's not the plan of a mastermind. Actually the opposite.

Two things:

  • You're implying the sanctions don't work. Were they enough to end Russia's imperialistic war? Obviously not. Does it mean they are doing fuckall? Also no.
  • What exactly is it that you want? All out war, NATO vs. Russia? Boots on the ground, nukes flying? Are you already strapped up, ready to be deployed?

It's sarcasm, my dude.

Not OP but in addition to the water consumption you already mentioned, flooded rice fields also produce a lot of methane due to the oxygen-free conditions at the bottom and the abundance of organic material.

This could be mitigated if fields would be drained periodically.

I'm a bit too tired and tipsy to fully wrap my head around this but I'm just as furious as you are!

Bomb someone. Immediately call "total ceasefire" so they can not retaliate. Art of the Deal.

This really hurts my brain. How can politicians be this shortsighted?

I'm living here and you are absolutely correct. Public transit is good. Most streets are 50 km/h. Some are 30 but that is oftentimes not enforced.

Several studies have shown that a speed limit of 30 km/h can massively reduce the number and severity of accidents. But as Germans we hate the idea of slowing down for other road users. We bought those shiny non electric cars and we want to blast through the city, god damnit!

After almost finishing part 2 I'm interested in how the story continues. But I'm happy to wait until they drop the price to a reasonable amount (< 15 €), even if that time may never come.

Guten Tag,
