Last time we had an interim coach against the Chiefs we were outscored 89-23. I don’t want anything remotely close to that level of embarrassment. I’ll be happy with Raiders +10.5 in either matchup, at the absolutely worst.

This feels like the Lions game again. Defense keeping us in it only for so long while the offense figures out how to resemble a league average offense.
Historically they’ve had our number. If AP wants to win me over, he gotta win against them first.
If he:

Beats both, he earns the full title going coming out of the bye week

Beats one or the other, earns full title after the season, barring collapse in the final 5 weeks

Loses to both, but they're highly competitive losses, strong consideration barring collapse

Loses to both and they're embarrassed, still consider for the job, but nothing short of a playoff run would absolutely save him a place.
The fact that it’s 9-6 is hilarious. The Jets are a borderline elite defense, and our offense is still learning how to exist on a football field post-McDs, fully starting a 4th round rookie QB. Let’s give them a break, y’all.
Mahomes and the Chiefs have our number, as has been the case for the last DECADE. We should not be taking this game lightly in the slightest. Let them make their mistakes while limiting our own, seems too obvious.
