I don't fully agree with whom you're arguing with. But I will point out we've seen many markets and producers like eggs or rent - Colluding to raise prices in a similar manner.

I think there's a solution in taxing the heavy users while not punishing people who only fly every 1~3 years. This specifically needs to start with the abuse of private planes with ridiculously high carbon use per capita.

God what a good change that would be. But these mega scale businesses always find ways to worm into the subsidies. I think John Oliver might have an episode on that.

This was a very fun experiment trying it a cornered bowl. It's one of my favorites so far. Wipe on poly finish.

 

I enjoyed this experiment with ebonizing using iron acetate. I used the ratios from here: https://jwoodscience.springeropen.com/articles/10.1186/s10086-023-02079-0

It worked great. A few spots where I accidentally touched where I didn't want to stain were reversed by using lemon juice!
