I'd be very surprised if a Blackhawk doesn't have much better radar than TCAS

Very common, I doubt it's contributing. Positions are made to combine up when it's less busy and to split off when it's more busy. You only rarely see all positions completely split off at most facilities.

BIG question is why the military helicopter, with onboard radar and proximity alerts that had to be going off in the cockpit, continue to fly into a commercial aircraft.

Save me a seat

I think the Constitution has to be the highest law in the land, the place we turn when all else breaks down. I know it's old, but it's what we have to fight back with, and we shouldn't concede any ground without a fight.

If we get rid of Martin Luther King Day before we get rid of Columbus Day, we'll really be an example to the world.

They're talking about a NATIONAL HOLIDAY like it was a special emphasis program, and then they say the national holiday won't be affected?

I used to put pictures and quotes from MLK on my screensaver on the holiday when I was at work. Would that be banned now?

On Martin Luther King Day. Absurdity.

Excuse me to dumbass who wrote this memo but Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday IS the federal holiday.

ARE THEY PLANNING ON CHANGING IT TO SOMETHING ELSE? WHITE POWER ASSUMPTION DAY OR SOMETHING

I hate that I found this through Facebook, but it was an interesting read. There are quite a few parallels to the US situation.

I'm not saying this could happen in the US, there were a LOT of unlikely situations that lined up, and some risky decisions that went unopposed, but not everything has to be identical for things to get bad.

I say it's worth a read.

The article warns that even the most well-intentioned constitutions can be vulnerable to manipulation. It emphasizes the importance of robust democratic institutions, political stability, and a vigilant citizenry to safeguard democracy.
