Another 73 million USD in the bottom of the Red Sea. Yemen is the poorest Arab state and one of the poorest countries in the world (137th GDP nominal). The US is going to war with them to protect Israel from the consequences of the genocide and blockade in Gaza.
PanArab
The point of the system is what it does. None of this is happening by chance or due to one or two bad actors
I’m curious why this got downvoted. I read the rules twice before posting to make sure I wasn’t overstepping or misstepping.
A city that had a well known car traffic problem, found an alternative solution to lane widening and the data backs it. You can take this as evidence to your city planner and convince them that grade-separated rail works and chances are, cheaper than lane-widening for your city, and can be quite transformative even in regions where car culture is dominant. It is as appropriate as a post for a “Fuck Cars” community can be, and proves the point everyone here is promoting.
Reuters is shit. Notice how they label Hamas’ attack as “deadly” while ignoring the genocide and starvation Israel is guilty of. A 1000 settlers were possibly killed by the resistance (See: Hannibal Directive) and it is the end of the world, over 50,000 Palestinians killed and thousands more injured and starving, it is just a military offensive.
Racism mostly...
For those who don't know what this is about:
You expect Republicans to be the fascists who are against all reason, yet this time it is the opposite. The bill had Democratic cosponsors.
In the US you are mostly true. The Maverick and Santa Cruz shows there’s a market for sensible pickup trucks but it is relatively small.
It is quite impressive how far China has developed in such a little time. It all happened during my lifetime.
I don’t think you can even get a Chevrolet Colorado for that price. If only Chinese pickups were available in the US.
You clearly haven't. Do you need the article spoon-fed to you? It is a common troll tactic to claim what you've claimed and it works, you have elicited a response.
Some key quotes, the entire article is worth reading:
Perhaps the most damning statement came from former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Herzog, who said, “God did the State of Israel a favor that Biden was the president during this period, because it could have been much worse. We fought [in Gaza] for over a year, and the administration never came to us and said, ‘ceasefire now.’ It never did. And that’s not to be taken for granted.”
It all paints a very clear picture of Biden going out of his way, enduring humiliations and insults, even breaking U.S. law and violating his own orders to facilitate a genocide in Gaza. It comes as little surprise that figures like Sullivan seemed to feel no regret, much less remorse, over allowing Netanyahu to run roughshod over them. The lack of concern about Palestinian lives is palpable here.
The importance of these confirmations was underlined by a very simple tweet from Rep. Ilhan Omar. She shared the Dropsite News report on the Hamakor interviews and commented, “We all knew they weren’t working tirelessly on a ceasefire and it was all a lie.”
If Israel can forcefully expel Palestinians, who is going to stop any country from doing the same? What will prevent the US from forcefully taking Canada? The only right that’s left is might.
Aircraft carriers is how the US projects power anywhere anytime in the globe. I wonder where does this leave the US's chances against China if they are having a bad time against a poor country with negligible military and no manufacturing base that suffered a decade of blockade, famine and bombings.
