I wouldn't call my room barren but I hate random stuff lying around. I don't understand trinkets, souvenirs, collectibles exposed and collecting dust.

I don't know, maybe both are correct indeed. It's just that the post seems to be making a point that only one of the statements is true and I was wondering whether we actually know that.

Do we actually know which version is correct though?

I was referring specifically to "tab only GUI". I'm sure a proper keyboard only GUI can be great.

Haven't been updated at all??? That's very much not true. There's so much going on in terminal world. There are many flavours of modern terminal emulators, multiplexers, shells. There's a ton of sophisticated terminal oriented software like Neovim for example. Pretty much every single part of terminal environment has now feature-rich, performant and safer alternative implementations. The terminal and CLI world is thriving. Almost none of that massive cumulative effort is directed towards the mouse support. I really think it's just not what people want.

That's better than nothing, obviously, but I wouldn't call pressing tab repeatedly the epitome of good keyboard-driven UX.

This is really weird. I love working in the terminal precisely because I can do everything without using the mouse. I thought that's the point?

No hate though, I just don't get it.

Man, it sure seems you talk a lot about coyotes

Does anyone have experience with HÅG Capisco? I'm looking for something promoting more active sitting. I already have a standing desk which I love but standing for the entire day is too tiring for me and isn't the healthiest option anyway. I think Capisco would be good because it would allow me for some time of sitting but without going into the "shrimp" posture. Also, I think some models can be raised to act kinda like a hoker which would give me a third option in-between full sitting and standing.

It's extremely expensive but I guess not ruining my back is worth it. I'm kinda hesitant though because I don't have any option to try it in person and I'm not sure whether I would be able to return it.

I can vouch for this, Tasks.org is fantastic - very feature rich. I think I tried all FOSS tasks / todo apps and nothing comes close in my opinion. Most of them are very simplistic which is not a problem in itself but I need the features!

I used Ente for some time and I think it's a really solid product. Let's hope E2EE services like this will get more popular.

That being said, I also decided to switch to self-hosting. I'm using Immich and it's just sooo good.

This seems so obvious now but somehow I never thought about this. Thanks!
