I love this however, I run my own mDNS server on my LAN via pihole. I have used my pihole to block ads as it is ment to do but I am also blocking US services I may try to use to get a dopamine hit (like Reddit).

I personally do not like drink mixes, I try to do as much as I can DIY. I just did a search on ecosia and found https://tastesbetterfromscratch.com/strawberry-lemonade/, I have made a few things posted on tastesbetterfromscratch but I really prefer Allrecipes then a gain Lemonade is not my jam.

I was recently converted away from this idea, there is so many cultural and language barriers. I understand how the EU works in Europe, do not know how that would transfer across the pond. I am more of a fan of CANZUK, we speak somewhat similar languages with a little Quebec and New Brunswick French. I am unsure of any other national languages the other countries have but we share more culture.
I would be a fan of taking the people off of our money as it is in the EU, I do not know but I am sure the crown would remain on whatever the CANZUK currency is called though.

I heard of some group in Regina who met to discuss this poop this past weekend. I only heard of it second hand but I am hoping the RCMP, hell maybe even CSIS, was paying attention. They are probably just some of those trucker idiots but it is treason they were discussing.

So I had a TV service I rarely used, I kept it just cause I did occasionally use it to watch sports or whatever that were not easily accessible online. I was not using it much but it was worked into my budget non the less, last night when I was thinking about how I consume TV shows; I first realized I was paying YouTube (I bought an annual subscription that ends at the end of March) to watch the monologue of some late night TV shows, I thought about it and realized the Google was paying those channels for me to watch some of the show so I am going to mark them to not be suggested to me via YouTube anymore and watch them via Canadian channel apps. I then thought about giving up on them all together, I do not know if I am ready to do that yet but I am seriously considering that whaat do others think?
Then finally I thought long and hard and realized I am paying for a TV service I rarely use, and it has US channels on it so I was paying to have access to US channels that I am not using or going to use so I cancelled my TV subscription.
As someone who very rarely watches traditional TV it feels so freeing knowing I am not paying a very small price to American stations to have access to their channels. I realize the Canadian stations pay to show the American shows but I sneakily get around that by having a pihole to block ads so the Canadian channels are not making money off of me to watch US TV shows, it is like sailing the high seas without the actual plundering.
So I am trying to go gopher wild on my Buy Canadian journey, I have blocked all of the social media coming from the US minus Reddit as I find Reddit as a good place to talk to like minded people however using Reddit I am paying a US company via my eyeballs. I would never click on a Reddit ad, even if I did I am sure my ad blocking technology (pi-hole) would block it they are still making money from me seeing it.

I deleted my X account a while ago, I used it only to read things our politicians posted. I would however suggest using pihole and blocking the whole X thing from your network.
