I dunno about that. Carney tends to lean left, working for the people vs for his own benefit.

For me it's all talk till I see it in action. Too many examples of people talking to the left, governing to the right. So while I know what you're saying and have heard him say good things, I'm skeptical until proven otherwise. With that said I'm voting for him for a leader and will vote ABC in my riding, which most likely means LPC since the NDP doesn't cross 10% here. ☺️

That's fair. I just remember him when he led the BoC during the 2008-09 crash. He was often on tv talking about where we stood economically, and what other government orgs and the bank were doing to help us.

I admired his forthrightness and honesty then, and I still see it now.
