I'm curious why a) you assume that an immigrant will immediately be on welfare, b) why and immigrant would be eligible for welfare and c) where our low-skill labour is, considering how many unfilled jobs there are.

Our low skill labour is already right here in the country. People aren't taking those because they don't pay enough to cover bills.
