CRTC has been useless or even worse, actively harmful, for a long time now unfortunately.
Definitely worse than useless. They allowed ROBeLUS to bankrupt and buy all independent ISPs but TekSavvy. The old chair was a Telus guy. The new one seems a lot better suited to do actual regulation. They are welcome to take action on the TekSavvy sale any day now. π€
